Accommodations
Restrooms and water fountains are available on the east lobby of the WaMu Theater.

Alcohol
The WaMu Theater and Qwest Field work hard to promote responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages. Our alcohol policies are listed below and are also posted at every concession stand.

• All Guests purchasing alcohol, who appear to be less than 30 years old, must present a valid ID (see below).
• No alcohol will be sold to Guests who appear intoxicated.
• There will be a two (2) beer limit, per transaction, at concession stands and portable concessions.
• There will be a one (1) beer limit, per person, by a roving vendor.
• Guests passing alcohol to minors will be ejected and subject to arrest.
• Guests possessing alcohol, who do not have proof of being at least 21 years of age, may be ejected.
• We reserve the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any Guest.
• Alcoholic beverages may not be brought into the WaMu Theater.   Any attempt to bring alcohol in will be considered a violation and may result in the Guest being ejected or arrested.

The following forms of ID are acceptable at WaMu Theater and Qwest Field:
A Driver’s License  — A driver’s license issued by any U.S. state or any Canadian province.
A U.S. Military ID — An official U.S. Military ID card, including active duty, reserve, retired, and/or dependent card.
A State ID Card - An official state ID card issued by an U.S. state or Canadian province.
A current, unexpired Official Passport - Issued by any nation.

Punched ID’s are NOT acceptable at WaMu Theater and Qwest Field
Vertical ID’s are NOT acceptable at WaMu Theater and Qwest Field
Expired ID’s are NOT acceptable at WaMu Theater and Qwest Field
Temporary ID’s are NOT acceptable at WaMu Theater and Qwest Field

ATM (Automated Teller Machine)
A WaMu ATM is located in the east lobby of the WaMu Theater at the south end. There is also a WaMu ATM located just outside the WaMu Theater next to the box office windows.

Box Office
The WaMu Theater box office and will call is located on Occidental Avenue just north of the theater marquis and main entry. The box office will open two hours prior to doors for most events.

The Qwest Field box office located at the northwest corner of the stadium is open 10:00am until 5:00pm Monday through Friday and 10:00am until 2:00pm Saturday and can provide service and ticket sales to WaMu Theater guests on non-event days and when the WaMu Theater box office is otherwise not open. Tickets purchased at the Qwest Field box office in advance are free of the standard Ticketmaster service charges.

Cameras and Other Recording Devices
As a general rule, cameras or other audio and video recording equipment are not permitted inside the WaMu Theater. This is subject to change on an event by event basis. Event specific photo policy may not be known until the day of the event.

Cell Phones and Personal Communication Devices
As a courtesy to other guests and the performers, guests are asked to silence cellular phones and other personal communication devices while in the WaMu Theater. If the need arises to place or take a call, please do so in the lobby and not inside the theater.

Coat Check
Coat check is available just south of the main entrance of the WaMu Theater at Guest Services.

Concessions
Levy Restaurants provides food and beverage service for the WaMu Theater. Food and Beverage are available in the main lobby. At many events, guests will find food and beverage service also available in the east lobby.

Food and Beverage
Food and non-alcoholic beverages purchased inside the WaMu Theater may be taken to your seat. During selected shows when alcoholic beverage service is available, beer and wine may be taken to your seat. WaMu Theater staff will advise at which shows beer and wine are allowed at your seat. Spirits are not allowed outside of designated spirits gardens.

Outside food and beverage are not allowed to be brought into the WaMu Theater.

Guest Code of Conduct
WaMu Theater staff is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for its guests. The facility’s staff will proactively intervene to support an environment where event patrons, their guests and other fans can enjoy the event experience free from the following behaviors:

  • Smoking on WaMu Theater premises
  • Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures
  • Intoxication or other signs of impairment related to alcohol consumption
  • Fighting, taunting, or threatening remarks or gestures
  • Sitting in a location other than the guest's ticketed seat
  • Displays of affection not appropriate in a public setting
  • Obscene or indecent clothing
  • Any disruption to the progress of the event by guests’ actions

Guest Services
Located near the main entrance to the WaMu Theater in the main lobby, Guest Services staff are on hand at every event to assist WaMu Theater guests in a variety of ways including:

  • Coat check
  • Lost and found
  • Information on upcoming events
  • Limited camera/item check
  • Comment cards
  • Ticket questions

Lost and Found
Items found on the day of the event are stored at Guest Services until 1 hour after the end of the event. Found items not claimed at that time are stored at the security command center for 90 days. The security command center may be reached at (206) 381-7510.

Medical Attention
Medics will be on duty during most events at the WaMu Theater. If medical attention is required, please contact a staff member and medics will be dispatched in a timely manner.

Messaging and Paging
Guests expecting urgent calls may leave their name and exact seat location (aisle, section, row, and seat number) at Guest Services. Messages may be left at (206) 381-7510 for WaMu Theater guests.

Parent Room
For certain events/concerts, a Parent Room will be available. The Parent Room is a space where parents/chaperones may work, relax or watch TV in a quiet area while their children are enjoying the concert/event. Admission to the Parent Room is free. Contact (206) 381-7555 for availability for a specific event.

Parking
Parking for the WaMu Theater is provided in our 6-Level garage located just off Royal Brougham across from Safeco Field. In addition the North Lot of Qwest Field is available for parking for any events held in the WaMu Theater. The maximum vehicle height in the garage is 6'8".

Prohibited Items
(this list is subject to change based on the security concerns of the artists or event management)

  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Animals-except service animals for the disabled
  • Backpacks or oversized items
  • Beach balls and other inflatable’s
  • Belts made of metal or chains or including spikes and/or studs
  • Cameras or recording devices (may change depending on artist/event)
  • Chains over 6 inches in length
  • Laser pointers
  • Noisemakers
  • Outside food or beverage
  • Stools or folding chairs
  • Water bottles
  • Weapons-including firearms, knives, mace and pepper spray

Re-Entry
Once a guest leaves the WaMu Theater during an event, re-entry is not permitted unless another ticket is purchased. This policy may be altered on an event-by-event basis.

Services for Guests with Disabilities
The WaMu Theater meets or exceeds all criteria established by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Inquiries for accommodations should be made when purchasing tickets. Requests for sign language interpretation should be made no less than 2 weeks prior to date of the event.

Smoking
According to Washington State Law (RCW 70.160) and at the direction of the King County Department of Health, the WaMu Theater is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is permitted only outside of the building 25 feet from entrances. Please note that during most shows, re-entry is not permitted once a guest has exited the WaMu Theater.
